Oxygen-poor Blood From The Body Flows Down Through The RIGHT ATRIUM To

Oxygen-helpless blood from the body streams down through the RIGHT ATRIUM to fill the RIGHT VENTRICLE which siphons the blood out through the PULMONARY ARTERY to the lungs. As blood moves through the LUNGS it surrenders the waste carbon dioxide and acquires oxygen from the breathed in air. The newly oxygenated blood comes back to one side chamber of the heart by method of the PULMONARY VEINS. Oxygen-rich blood from the lungs streams down through the LEFT ATRIUM to fill the LEFT VENTRICLE which siphons it into the AORTA, the principle course to the body. The blood goes from the aorta into littler ARTERIES which convey it to all body organs and tissues. There it streams into the smalles blood vessel branches, the ARTERIOLES. From the arterioles, blood streams into thick systems of small, slim walled veins called CAPILLARIES. Oxygen and supplements in the blood effectively go through the slender fine dividers to the cells, and carbon dioxide and other cell squander items can go back through the dividers into the blood to be diverted.
